We Need Your Help to Buy Gear that Will Enhance Our Work

We would like to thank all our members and supporters for all they have given towards coastal conservation this year. Many have contributed their time, energy, and passion in addition to monetary donations.
 
Together, we have achieved so much, such as:

• Helping people of all ages learn more about coastal and marine life.
• Pioneering nature-based shoreline protections.
• Successfully advocating for species protection such as horseshoe crabs, shorebirds like the threatened Red Knot, and diamondback terrapins.
• Supporting efforts to build resilient communities.
• Fighting for public access to shorelines, as well as swimmable, accessible, fishable, and equitable (SAFE) waters that aren't polluted by fertilizers, pharmaceuticals, plastics, or the billions of gallons of raw sewage still being dumped into our rivers and estuaries every year.

​This is hard work, requiring dedication, persistence, and the support of people like you. But there is still so much to be done if we want to protect homes and habitats, today and tomorrow.
 
Since it is the giving time of year, our dedicated program staff have identified the following items that would enhance the work they are doing:

• A set of 20 binoculars to be used with students - $100 per pair
• Field camera - $500 - $1000
• Field tablet for data collection - $500 - $1000
• Johnboat/skiff - $1,000
• Waders for staff, students, and volunteers - $75
