Sunset Lake - Community Kayak Day
Saturday, June 28 10 am - 12 pm. Sunset Lake Beach (Map) 79 Park Dr. W Bridgeton, NJ 08302 Free Join the staff of the American Littoral Society's Delaware Bayshore office for a morning of kayaking on Sunset Lake in Bridgeton, NJ. First time paddlers welcome! We will paddle down the lake and into Barrett's Run stream, watching out for wildlife like osprey, herons, bald eagles, and turtles, as well as learn about the work the Littoral Society is doing to protect this ecosystem. There will be a shuttle available from the Alms Center for those who would like to meet there at 9:30am. If you would like to take the shuttle, please contact Stronger Families at 856-453-4913 Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Dress for the possibility of getting a bit wet.
