A partnership between Sandy Hook Kayaks and the American Littoral Society

Paddle through the calm, protected waters of Sandy Hook Bay on a guided ecological tour led by a naturalist from the American Littoral Society. Explore this unique barrier peninsula while learning about estuaries, marine life, and coastal birds. A certified lifeguard from Sandy Hook Kayaks will accompany the group for added safety.

Tour Details
• Launch at 6:00 PM (please arrive by 5:45 PM for check-in and safety briefing)
• Duration: Approximately 2 hours
• Beginner-friendly, first-time paddlers welcome
• Ages 12 & under must ride in a double kayak with a trusted guardian

Included in Registration
• Kayak or paddleboard rental
• Paddle and life jacket

What to Bring
• Water bottle
• Sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses
• Shoes and clothes that can get wet

*** A waiver must be signed upon arrival.

Please note: The National Park Service charges its own parking fees at Sandy Hook. These are separate from any program fees.
