Discover the birds of Sandy Hook!

Join the American Littoral Society's expert birder, Dan Burgoyne, for an evening of birding along the coast as we explore Sandy Hook’s rich and diverse habitats.

We’ll walk through forests, marshes, and shoreline areas in search of shorebirds, wading birds, ospreys, terns, and more. Along the way, we’ll share bird ID tips and highlight Sandy Hook is an important habitat for wildlife.

Perfect for birders of all experience levels!

Please bring binoculars, sunscreen, bug spray, a water bottle, snacks, and appropriate footwear or hiking shoes for paved and sandy terrain.

Meet at 6:00 p.m. on the porch of our building:
