10am - Noon Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center 175-10 Cross Bay Boulevard Queens, NY Free Join the American Littoral Society for a free Monarch/Pollinator Walk at the Jamaica Bay Refuge, Saturday, October 5 from 10am-noon. We'll visit the pollinator garden and all the wildflowers around the west pond. We'll also look at birds, plants, and everything else! Hopefully, there will be some monarchs migrating. On hand will be Wing Kong, an environmental artist and nature lover who will have some monarch crysalids as well as adults to release. Kids welcome! Leaders: Don Riepe, Wing Kong.
