​Join the American Littoral Society for a day at the bay! Through exploration and hands-on learning, homeschool students ages 5 and up will discover the unique ecosystems along the Delaware Bay from the salt marsh to the bay beaches. Connect with other families and enjoy interactive activity stations including:
  • Seine Fishing – Catch, observe, and release local marine life 
  • Bay Scavenger Hunt 
  • Games & Up-Close Encounters – Meet fish, horseshoe crabs, mollusks and participate in interactive games to learn about the bay ecosystem

Program Time: 10 am - 12:30 pm 

Restrooms: Port-o-Pot and hand-washing station will be available.

Check-in: Begins at 9:45 AM
Pack a Lunch: Guests are encouraged to pack a lunch and have a beach picnic after the program. All trash must be carried out.

Programs may be canceled for safety due to hazardous weather.
​Participants will be notified by the end of the prior business day.
If the Society cancels, we’ll work with you to reschedule or transfer your booking.
