​Join the American Littoral Society for a day of coastal exploration and hands-on learning at Sunset Cove Park! Homeschool students ages 5 and up will connect with other families while discovering Sunset Cove’s unique marine environment.

  • Touch Tank – Interact & learn about local marine life
  • Up-Close Encounters – Meet fish, horseshoe crabs, mollusks, macroinvertebrates, and more
  • Beach Scavenger Hunt 

⏰ Check-in: Begins at 10:00 AM
🥪 Lunch Break: Bring your own lunch — we’ll take a 30-minute break around 12:30 PM
🌊 Dress to get feet wet!

Weather & Cancellation
Programs may be canceled for safety due to hazardous weather.
The Society reserves the right to cancel due to low attendance.
​Participants will be notified by the end of the prior business day.
If the Society cancels, we’ll work with you to reschedule or transfer your booking.
