Quinn Whitesall McHerron

About Quinn

Quinn Whitesall-McHerron is our Habitat Restoration Operations Specialist, a cross-cutting operations role focused on strengthening the systems that support our restoration work, including project coordination, grant and match tracking, reporting support, internal organization, and coordination across programs and offices. In this role she helps build additional capacity for our growing restoration portfolio and supports the team as we continue advancing major habitat restoration projects across the region.

She was the Habitat Restoration Coordinator for the Delaware Bayshore Office for almost 10 years, where she led the horseshoe crab tagging program, constructed and monitored intertidal reefs, and provided grant reporting and permitting support to the habitat restoration project team. She then moved over to work with NJDEP in the Bureau of Climate Resilience Planning and New Jersey Coastal Management Program, and then the Bureau of Blue Acres, before returning to the Society in her current role.

Prior to starting her career with the American Littoral Society in June of 2014, she served as the AmeriCorps New Jersey Watershed Ambassador for the Salem, Maurice & Cohansey River watersheds.

Quinn received her B.S. in Marine Science from Stockton University in 2012 and is currently a graduate student in Stockton’s Coastal Zone Management Professional Science Master’s Program.

Quinn resides in Voorhees, NJ with her husband Kyle.
