Sandy Hook
Horseshoe Crab Walk

🌊Horseshoe Crab Walk
Saturday, June 14 | 6:30 – 8:00 PM
Meet at: B Lot Parking Area
Gateway National Recreation Area – Sandy Hook Unit
Highlands, NJ
Cost: $10 Members | $20 Non-Members
Join the American Littoral Society for an evening walk at Sandy Hook to learn about some of our oldest friends, 445 million years old that is!!!

Watch your step as we walk along the sand and wade within the water as they will be crawling at your feet. Experience the excitement of holding one of these ancient creatures as the sun sets over the bay.

Please wear shoes that can get wet.

*** Please note that this is an informative eco walk, different from our horseshoe crab tagging experiences.
