The Littoral Society is in partnership with Shark River Clean Up Coalition (SRCC) & Belmar Environmental Commission for this special event! Join us at the Shark River Inlet for an evening of hands-on discovery as we explore the diverse wildlife that calls our shores home. We’ll meet at the stairs leading down to the bay on the western side of Maclearie Park. Participants will help pull a 40-foot seine net through the bay and experience the thrill of discovering fish, crabs, and other fascinating marine creatures. Please wear clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting wet! Meet at 6:00 p.m. at Maclearie Park in Belmar.
