Our goal is to create a coast-wide system of protected areas, including upland forests and critical habitat areas as well as ecologically rich areas of the ocean.

The design of the system would protect critical habitat areas, keep some small portion of the coast free from human intervention and alteration, be used as a template for local and state environmental protection policies, and embody a long term vision towards which we will work, and encourage others to work.
