Other Opportunities

The Society offers summer internships in the education and fish-tagging programs at our Sandy Hook headquarters. The annual deadline to apply for the internship program is March 31. The internship positions are posted in January and intern selections are announced in mid April.
Please click the Coastal Internships link below for instructions on how to apply.

Coastal Internships
R-Corps
Veteran Interns
The American Littoral Society offers three coastal internship summer employment opportunities based out of Sandy Hook National Recreation Area. The Littoral Society also runs two community employment programs tied to specific regions and grant funding. Restoration Corps is a youth program which engages young adults from NYC and southern NJ in meaningful work geared towards environmental stewardship. The Veteran Intern program hires US Armed Forces veterans to help with restoration projects in NJ's Delaware Bay region.
