Help Us

Help the Coast

Why Donate

The Society works to protect and preserve coastal water quality and habitats from Maine to Florida. We believe when people get their feet wet and hands sandy, they become stewards of the shore. We believe in educating children on the beach and beside the bays. We believe that decision makers will act when faced with a groundswell of public support for strong environmental protection policies.

There are many ways to support the Society, but your financial contribution supports on-the-ground and in-the-field restoration, education, and advocacy efforts.
Donate
By making weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual recurring donations, you may be able to give more by budgeting an amount to donate each month.

To opt-in to the Society's membership program and receive member benefits like a subscription to the Underwater Naturalist magazine and invitations to members only events, please click here.

Your donation is 100% tax deductible.

Material Support

We don't like waste.
In the past the society has been fortunate to receive donations of various items, among them boats, furniture and computer equipment.

Some items we auction off to raise funds to keep the lights on in our offices.  Others we use in our offices so our employees have a place to sit and do their work.

We have auctioned off boats, thus giving the donor a tax write off, the society much needed funds, and the new owner a way to get on the water.

We are always in need of reliable pick-up trucks for our work to haul recycled oyster shell to our curing sites, beach grasses to our dune plantings and tools to our public events.

If you have something you think may be of use to the society, whether boats, trucks, shovels, desks or anything else, please call our headquarters at 732-291-0055.

It will give your items a second life and the society desperately needed resources.
