9 a.m. - 1 p.m. LOCATION CHANGE: Broad Channel American Park W 2nd Road Broad Channel, NY Free Meet at Broad Channel American Park's parking lot and drive to a local beach to view ancient horseshoe crabs as they come ashore to lay their eggs. Learn about their behavior, biology, medical value, and ecological importance to shorebirds and other marine species. Talks and other programs after the walk. Kids welcome.
