About Julie
For Julie, the natural environment has always been more than simply the wilderness surrounding her, it’s been her safe haven.
Living on New Jersey's coast has given her the opportunity to continually be humbled and amazed by the cohesive mechanics this planet operates on, and even more so, create the passion and motivation to want to make a difference. Julie has always pursued her love for the environment through education. She graduated with honors from Stockton University with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science in 2015. Starting as a summer intern with the American Littoral Society in 2014, Julie is now a Habitat Restoration Technician for the society’s Habitat Restoration department. Julie engages the community managing two citizen science programs, conducts field work including fish sampling and habitat assessments, helps to implement green infrastructure projects, and educates students about the diverse coastal ecosystem that surrounds them. |
