About Julie

Julie is a Habitat Restoration Coordinator, working from the American Littoral Society's Sandy Hook, NJ office. For Julie, the natural environment has always been more than simply the wilderness surrounding her, it’s been her safe haven.

Living on New Jersey's coast has given her the opportunity to continually be humbled and amazed by the cohesive mechanics this planet operates on, and even more so, create the passion and motivation to want to make a difference.

Julie has always pursued her love for the environment through education. She graduated with honors from Stockton University with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science in 2015.

After a stint as a 2014 summer intern with the Littoral Society, Julie was hired as the Education and Outreach Coordinator for the society’s Education department and Habitat Restoration department's Wreck Pond Project.

From running field trips to public speaking, Julie works to engage people of all ages and backgrounds on the vast diversity and importance of our coastal ecosystems.
