Lace up your shoes, click your claws, and hit the boardwalk!
The 8th Annual Lobster Run is happening on April 29, 2023! Registration begins at 7:45 am Volunteers NeededIf you’re interested in helping out with the Lobster Run, we are looking for volunteers to assist with registration, on the racecourse, and with the after party at The Break, formerly known as Langosta Lounge. Since 1961, the American Littoral Society has been caring for the coast in New Jersey and beyond. Based on Sandy Hook, we see the beauty and feel the energy that draws people to coastal communities. We work to protect and restore that splendor. We also strive to bring people onto the sand and into the water so they can gain a deeper understanding of how nature works on our beaches and in our bays.
We need your help to continue and expand that work. |

Registration begins at 7:45 am. We are not running in waves this year, we will run all together as one big group so please arrive early!
THE AFTER PARTY IS BACK! We have brought back the Lobster Run after party at The Break, formerly known as Langosta Lounge. Join us for a brunch buffet with lobster roll upgrade (optional), drink specials and live music from 10 - 11:30 am.
Start/finish outside The Break, formerly known as Langosta Lounge, 1000 Ocean Avenue, Asbury Park, NJ. Registration will be open until event is full. T-shirts will be included for race/walk participants only and are guaranteed for those who sign up before April 15.
The course is suitable for all ages and will take participants out and back on the boardwalk from Asbury Park to Ocean Grove. Parking available across the street and plenty of parking in public lots. The event is rain or shine, registration is not refundable.
Shirts included for 5K runners and Walkers Only!
