About Manny

Manny Royle is a special needs dog who joined the Littoral Society when his man servant and fellow Littoral Society staffer Zack Royle rescued him from a shelter. Since he joined the society, Manny’s mental and physical health has greatly improved. He was recently promoted to headquarters morale officer where he reminds the staff why we love nature.

Manny has many likes.  He loves people, naps, sprinting after toys, sauntering into employees’ offices, napping and snoring. He has very few dislikes, but lawn mowers and leaf blowers top the list.

Manny accompanies Zack on various society functions, including fish sampling and oyster reef construction, but his main job is to distract employees from their myriad responsibilities for 5 minutes a day. In his latest employee evaluation he received a top job rating. He is compensated in cat food, his favorite dish.
