Please join the American Littoral Society for Members Day, which includes awards and the annual Board of Trustees election. After the meeting, members will be treated to a BBQ picnic lunch from Local Smoke, East Point oysters from Bivalve Packing Company and beer.

Save Your Gently-Used Gear from the Landfill! 

Did you know that clothing waste is responsible for 10% of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions and 20% of the world’s wastewater? You can help reduce that waste and support our summer work experience youth by donating your gently-used gear. We are accepting adult-sized:
  • Work boots
  • Water-friendly shoes (water shoes, crocs, rain boots, tevas etc.)
  • Rain coats
  • Quick-dry shirts
  • Quick-dry pants
  • Wide brimmed hats

This field gear will be distributed to the young adults in our Restoration Corps and summer internship programs. Your donation will help to support young people who are getting started in their environmental careers and help to reduce clothing waste.

Please bring your clean, lightly-used field clothes and shoes to Members Day on Saturday, June 22 and we will distribute them to our Restoration Corps and summer interns.
