About Michelle

Michelle grew up in Burlington, NJ, spending summers exploring the beaches of the Delaware Bay with her grandparents, where she gained a life-long fascination with the coastal environment.

In her role as Delaware Bayshore Outreach and Education Coordinator, Michelle connects students, teachers, and community members to the Littoral Society’s work in the Delaware Bayshore region through education programs, community outreach, and social media. The best part about her job is the opportunity to inspire others to care for the environment and take action.

Michelle earned her B.S. in Marine Science from Stockton University in 2007 and her M.S. in Environmental Education from Florida Institute of Technology in 2012. Michelle joined the American Littoral Society in 2022 with 10 years of experience working for environmental non-profits in environmental education and community engagement.
