Montauk Winter Weekend

Visit Fabulous Montauk - January 20-22, 2023

Join us for a trip to the eastern tip of Long Island during the quiet season (no crowds or traffic). See many species of sea ducks including Loons, Scoters, long-tailed ducks, Razorbills, etc. and hike the 'walking dunes', Montauk bluffs and beach, Hither Woods, Napeague Dunes, and visit the seal haulout site.

Cost: $595/person includes two nights lodging at the luxurious Manor House, (spacious lobby and restaurant), 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 5 guided field trips, 2 evening programs and a star watch. Friday, January 20 – Check in to the Manor House any time after noon. 
3 pm-5 pm – ​Meet in the lobby and drive to the nearby Shadmore State Park trail and bluffs for great views of the ocean. Learn about the history and ecology of the area. 
7 pm-9 pm – Dinner on own.
9 pm – Meet in the conference room for an orientation and brief slide presentation on Montauk. 

Saturday, January 21 
7 am-8:30 am – Breakfast at the Hilltop Restaurant on premises (included) 
9 am - Noon – Meet in lobby and drive to 'Walking Dunes' or Lighthouse area for an easy hike. 
Noon-2 pm – lunch at restaurant (included).
3 pm-5 pm – Hike at Napeague Dunes, Lazy Point, or other natural area. 
Dinner on own
8:30 pm – Program in Conference room. 
9:30 pm – Star Watch (weather permitting)
 
Sunday, January 22
7 - 8:30 am – Breakfast at Hilltop (included)
9am – Hike to natural area (Walking Dunes, Montauk Point, East Lake Drive beach, etc.)
Noon – 2 pm – lunch at restaurant(included)
2 pm – Afternoon hike along Montauk Beach and bluffs
