Montauk Winter Weekend

Picture

Visit Fabulous Montauk - January 10-12, 2025

Picture
Join us for a trip to the eastern tip of Long Island during the quiet season (no crowds or traffic). It's also the peak birding time, with plenty of scoters, razorbills, loons, eiders, many species of ducks, to see. If we're lucky, we may even encounter a snowy owl.

There will also be plenty of harbor seals to watch, in addition to hikes along the famous 'Walking Dunes', Montauk Bluffs, beaches, and woods.

Cost is $695/person and includes 2 nights at the luxurious Manor House, 5 meals, 5 guided hikes, and 2 evening programs. (Single supplement $150). Register through the form to the left or contact Alexandra Kanonik, Director of the Littoral Society's Northeast Chapter, at [email protected].

Check in to the Montauk Manor on Friday afternoon is at 2pm. Please call Don when you arrive.

For Drivers: The Montauk Manor has two dedicated parking lots for those who are staying at the Manor.

For Commuters: Please add in the notes line of your registration if you are planning to commute to Montauk. You can take the LIRR from Manhattan in Penn Station or at Grand Central Station or from Jamaica Station in Queens straight to Montauk station (train schedule). Once you arrive, you can get picked up from the station directly to the Montauk Manor by using their dedicated shuttle bus service. The Montauk Manor shuttle bus can take you into town and back at any time. Just call ahead to the front desk: 631-668-4400.

During our day hikes: we will fit you into a carpool with one of our driving trip attendees. If you will be riding in a carpool on day hikes please wear a mask if possible to keep us all happy and healthy.
