Join us on Saturday, April 22 at 11 a.m. for annual maintenance on our living shoreline project at Slade Dale Sanctuary in Point Pleasant, NJ.
In addition to adding recycled Christmas trees collected over the winter, volunteers will also help us install coir logs to help stabilize the shoreline. Some of this work will require volunteers to be in the water, so bring waders or a wetsuit if you have them. We will be able to provide a limited amount of waders. However, there will also be tasks that don’t require you to be in the water if you are not comfortable or able. Street parking is available along Sea Point Drive (GPS: 2343 Sea Point Drive, Point Pleasant, NJ). Can't attend but want to become a member?
