About ZachBorn and raised in South Jersey, Zach Nickerson received his bachelor's degree in political science in 2011 and spent two years as the AmeriCorps NJ Watershed Ambassador for the Cape May watershed.
Zach joined the Littoral Society in the fall of 2015 as the Education Outreach Coordinator for the Delaware Bayshore office, starting in the Restoration Department teaching about horseshoe crabs and oyster reefs and eventually moving to the Watershed Conservation Department where he helped students get involved in building rain gardens and other green stormwater infrastructure projects. In 2021 he became the Conservation Coordinator, where he is now involved in the installation of more green infrastructure projects in the Delaware Bayshore region, running the Restoration Corps summer internship, and monitoring our water quality sampling sites. |
