About ZachBorn and raised in South Jersey, Zach Nickerson received his bachelor’s degree in political science in 2011 and spent two years as the AmeriCorps NJ Watershed Ambassador for the Cape May watershed.
After a brief stint as a substitute teacher, he joined the Littoral Society in the fall of 2015 as the Education Outreach Coordinator for the Delaware Bay office, where he is currently working on increasing student involvement in the society's restoration work through a new program to grow Spartina grass in classrooms, taking students on field trips to our restoration sites, and increasing volunteer participation in our horseshoe crab tagging and oyster reef restoration programs. He currently resides in Seaville, NJ. |
