Hobbies

In my spare time, I enjoy boxing, reading, and spending time with my family. My favorite authors are Michael Crichton and Steven King. I also like learning and practicing primitive wilderness survival skills and identifying edible plants. I'm a sucker for any BBQ show on TV.

Research Interests

For my Master's thesis, I studied American black bear and raccoon presence in the NJ Pine Barrens.

I am interested in animal behavior, particularly animal cognition and emotion with a focus on improving animal welfare.
