The American Littoral Society is bagging shell once again for a fifth intertidal reef that will be built this coming spring off one of our horseshoe crab beach restoration projects along the Delaware Bay.
Please lend us your helping hands to fill shell bag on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the docks in Port Norris, NJ (8779 Berry Avenue, Port Norris, NJ, Google maps: http://ow.ly/gopZ306DRko).
Please join us for the 3rd Annual Veterans Day on the Bay celebration, on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 10 a.m. on Thompsons Beach. The event is hosted by the American Littoral Society and Conserve Wildlife Foundation.
This Veterans Day event will dedicate the reef built off Thompsons Beach in April, 2017 at the 3rd Annual Shell-A-Bration, during which 70 volunteers, aided by the US Fish and Wildlife Service, turned a mountain of shell bags into an intertidal reef.
