Ignite your child's love for learning with a week at the American Littoral Society's Coast Camp. Camps are being held on Long Beach Island and Sandy Hook, NJ in July and August.
Sitting at a PC or turning the pages of a book, kids can develop an interest in the coast. Standing in the surf with the wind in their face and a horseshoe crab in their hands, they can develop a passion for it.
Join the Littoral Society for a week of education fun that includes seining, marine life identification, fishing, crabbing, birding, shelling, field journaling, plankton discovery, coastal botany, and understanding nature through art.
Our coastal camps allow kids to have a great time while investigating the natural world. They do this by getting sand between their toes while they search for sea creatures. Our highly trained staff uses a proven, creative, science-based, experiential teaching method.
